Thread: Alarm system keep going off intermittently

Is this TSB a secret? a link and/or number would be appreciated...

there is no link per se...... I subscribe to a sevice that displays all the TSB's as well as service info and electrical,assembly and parts layouts..... To get a copy of a particvular TSB, I have to print, scan conver a file of the TSB to send..... this TSB, as I indicated above, is sraight forward and reates specifically to the Venza and involves no other vehcile. If you go to the dealer with the TSB number provided, it should get them focussed and resolve the problem.

OK. The first time you responded you didn't provide the TSB number. As of last summer there apparently was no TSB specific to the Venza, but there was one on the Highlander. In any case, mine has been resolved.

THis ie the second time this has occured . The alarm goes off three times usually 45 minutes apart. There is no reason for the alarm to go off. I read the other postings and will use this information tomorrow when i get to the dealer. WIll let you know what happens....very annoying. I did call the last time this happened and the service desk said there was a toggle turn off switch under the driver dash . Cant find it. Hopefullly it will be quiet tonight.

there is a faulty hood sensor. I had mine fixed today. Supposed to fix the problem. My alarm went off three different nights at 3 am . Very annoying. There is a TSB code to fix this. Dealer can find.
