Hi Everone! 2011 Venza owner here. Had it less than a week. Never owned NAV before. The DVD makes noises of a computer reading a disc, is this normal?

Also, my older (work) cell's contact list loaded no problem. But my Samsung Epic (Galaxy S) doesn't seem to want to load. I get a message to operate the phone. Am I missing something or is it a compatibility issue? Am I doomed to entering all my contacts manually?
