Thread: Samsung Fascinate via BT / USB DOA

Brand new 2011 V6 AWD. Love it. I have successfully paired my Samsung Fascinate (Android Platform) phone through the Bluetooth connection. I opted for the "Internal Audio" feature and now also enjoy all of my music through the Venza's JBL radio. Just one catch... The radio will not display song info. Instead it constantly displays "Streaming Music." I have tried the phone's preinstalled music player and another I downloaded. It made no difference. Any suggestions are welcome.

In the meantime, I thought I'd try to connect via the USB port in the center console. It turns out that the port is dead. No power...nothing. Now the dealer has it and is planning to pull the dash apart to troubleshoot the problem. Anybody else reporting a dead USB port?

Troubles resolved. Apparently some phones stream music but not title and artist info via BT. I Tested both the I Phone and Blackberry. Both streamed music + title + artist. Unfortunately, the Samsung Fascinate (Android) streams music only. As for USB port problem, the dealer discovered the USB cable not connected to the computer module behind the dash.
