    Found this blog post and just wanted to share it with everyone its a letter to the editor from today’s Wall Street Journal that I think provides an important perspective on unintended acceleration.

    Oh and possibly the best quote I have seen in some time “A meteorite hitting your car is an ‘accident,’ everything else is driver error.”

      On my 2011 Venza and my 2010 Avalon, it is not driver error that when I start the cars cold they can back up a small hill at around 5mph. Indeed, good practice to put the foot on the brake when going into drive gear, but this is the first car I have ever had with that kind of take off.
