My Touch Pro 2 won't pair to my new Venza. I read somewhere that the Venzas use 2.0 technology and I believe my phone uses 1.9 (grrr) and that is the reason it won't pair.

My question is: does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade my phone's Bluetooth software? I've done Google searches about it but so far I haven't come up with anything.

If it comes down to it, I'll just get a new phone. :-)

I was hi-way driving on "cruise" (approx 115 km/hr) and when going up what I would call a moderate hill the engine seemed to drop two gears and accellerate very quickly to regain the target speed. I don't seem to remember the downshift being so severe when I've used cruise control before and I was a little un-nerved, (given the acceleration "issues").
