    Default 2011 Venza Seat Covers

    Hi All,

I just got a new Toyota Venza and I was wondering if anyone could help me fin some good seat covers. My interior is very light and I am afraid that overtime it will get dirty and I wont be able to wash it. Unfortinatly I did not get a fully loaded car so it is not leather, if anyone knows any good places, websites etc I would really appreciate the answer.

    Thank you

If you want great seats and are not scared to put out few bucks than look at Clazzio seat covers.
You can have them all pvc or suade or leather, depending on what you like and what your budget is.
I had clazzios in my Scion Xb and no one will know the difference between them and oem, everyone will think these are factory seats, the product quality is simply outstanding.

If you're looking for under $100 seat covers I have yet to see any that would look decent.

Here's a reply I posted on the subject a while back.............now almost a year later and we still like them a lot.
    A very worthwhile purchase.

I'm very happy with the quality of these seat covers...........very heavy duty and thick material with padding placed inside the covers to make them more comfortable and hold them solidly in place.
Because they are custom fit they fit exactly..............and because of this they are not easy to install. You need to spend a fair amount of time working them on over the OEM seat padding to get the perfect look.
It took me about 2 hours for the front seats and headrests.
But he results are outstanding...........they look and feel much better than the OEM material IMHO.
Below are some pictures but they just don't do justice to the final look or the quality of these covers.

I would highly recommend GT Covers to anyone looking for a quality cover that looks as good as factory, or better.
You just need patience to install them.

Another option is a spare set of OEM covers. I have a strange way of looking at things sometimes, but why save it for the next guy! I keep my cars as spotless as possible, so I'm not afraid of shampooing the seats once in a while. As a back-up, I bought another set of new, removed OEM seat upholstery. The entire set, front and rear seats cost me $95.00 plus about $30.00 shipping, $125.00 all together. If my covers ever get to the point where they don't clean up nice, new ones go on! The fella I bought mine from has them on eBay all the time. These are new take-offs for leather upgrades. I prefer the look of the original upholstery, So I now have a spare set in a box. I have the same kind take-off set put aside for my 2009 Scion tC also. Peace of mind thing I guess.

I'm from the automotive service world. I have done aftermarket accessories for years. I normally don't do heated seats, but I put them in my 2010 cloth interior Venza last fall. Yes, it does take some time and caution. I didn't remove the seats from the car, I did them in the car. The entire heated seat job took about six hours total, removing the covers to expose the foam, re-assembly, wiring and drilling the holes in the dash for the switches. The covers alone would probably take about an hour per cushion to do. If you have no automobile working experience, let a pro do it!

No, there is no wiring to be found, but it really wouldn't matter any way. The OEM switches on the dash connect to an electronic temp control/timer module unique to the factory system. The aftermarket versions are totally different. They come with their own unique wiring harness and switches. I opted to drill mine in the dash panel where the factory rectangle switches are located. If I EVER get my car back from the dealer where it has been for 2 1/2 weeks now for the water leak issue, I'll take some pictures and post them. I used one of the best kits available from Check Corp. They supply custom fit elements for each model car they fill orders for. The kit was easy to install with some patience and about six hours time! The dual heat switches are round as most aftermarket kits are. I didn't want them looking cheesy in the side seat trim, so I ran my wiring harness up into the center dash area and drilled two 5/8" holes for the switches where the factory ones go. Look good and easier to use than on the side seat panel where you can't see them.

No.......they have side blow out flaps the tuck in.
In the event of a airbag deployment it would just blow open this flap and work as intended.
