Cheap Venza Intake - look inside to make airaid develop one

We all know (or most of us) that any form of aftermarket intakes are for sound more than anything. They are said to optimize airflow, (which they likely do,) but the oem manufacturing engineers look to find the perfect balance between flow/MPG's and quiet sound.

In the past I have left my stock air intake box in place, and replaced the intake tube with an aftermarket version. The aftermarket version (regardless of the manufacturer) installs easily, cuts out resonators (which restrict sound), and may even add a few ponies. For my last vehicle I bought an M.I.T. Airaid intake tube off amazon for less than $100 shipped.

I have been in contact with Mark Fowler of Airaid intake systems ( Mark1@airaid.com ) , in regards to developing an m.i.t. system for the venza, but he says there is no interest.

If anyone is interested in a cheap intake, that will make their Venza sound more aggressive, and cheaply increase hp - email mark from Airaid.
