I'll let the new owner introduce himself.. but don't go leaving and finding a new home since he'll take ownership in a week or so - it'll be running here in the meantime.
So stick around!
I'll pop in from time to time to say hi

I lost my internet connection for 2 days and look what happens! Thanks Scott for keeping the lights on.
Well what a nice surprise ! I just happened to check back in today and to find our Venza site alive and kicking was just GREAT . after joining the other site and spending a few days lurking there I find this site to be more to my liking the formating seems to be an easier fit at least for me. Thanks Rob and Scott for getting together and keeping this site together. Much appreciated./RW
yeah this is nice. Rob did a nice job. So we can stick around and learn stuff. I need all the help I can get!
My big issue is SNOW and what to do about getting new tires.....have to go look at those tire threads again!

If you have the v6 with the 20" wheels, then the Yokohama parada spec-x 's are a great tire. Check out my pics and it shows a little of the tires.
I live 30 miles west of charleston so glad to see you here in the forum

Hey,
Mine is a 4 cyl AWD -I will try to attach a few pics of my driveway so you might understand my concern. I happen to be up in NJ at the moment visiting. My hubby is sending me daily pics of the drifts, the deer struggling to walk in all that crap, stories of calves dying and today he threw a chain off his Ranger while plowing. Oh the joys of retired life!
Our driveway is almost a mile long. Our house is at 2200 feet. It is steep going down to a creek and steep with S turns back up to the top. Some of you might like it. I now hate it.The Venza actually did better than my hubby's Tundra recently, he was impressed. Going down is lousy though. So - I am actually thinking of getting studded tires. Really just for being able to get in and out in the winter and not have to worry about it any more. Of course, if I spend a small fortune on new wheels and tires we will not get ANY snow for the next years.
I know people here have gone with 17" but from what I read it's not recommended. 18's are okay. SO I guess that's more info than you needed but I had to rant a little. This winter is a b!tch.
So glad you are keeping the forum up! Thanks!
-Diane
