Makes more sense..... you did bring up a topic that all buyers need to heed..... thoroughly check the vehicle inside and out and take it for a ride to make certain all is as expected...... whereas bringing up a problem after signing and taking ownership with a helfty monthly payment and losing your trade can lead to a frustrating ordeal as have discovered. I personally refused delivery on the venza cuz the clear paint protection film wasn't right. It doesn't make them happy but its our money and we should get what we pay for without exception.
I would recommend a back-up camera system along with back-up sensors. It will pretty much resolve the rear view issue.
I went with the Echomaster reversing sensors. My venza had the back-up camera.
Bigallis1, Did you buy an extended service contract from Toyota?
I did not!
I also have not. But, I am considering it. Have been for a while now. Can't same to pull the trigger.![]()
I though it about time to reply to my thread as I've now had my Venza for a month.
Firstly, in response to Giterdone's request I thoroughly checked the car over before putting pen to paper and did not find any sign of rust in the areas that were his (?) concern nor anywhere else.
So far the car has been everything I expected and more. I've purchased Weathertech digitalfit mats for the winter and found some near perfect 20 inch Toyo winter tires which remain in my garage as winter hasn't hit - yet ! .
My family love it, especially the heated leather seats for the colder mornings. Friends, wider family and work colleagues are equally impressed.
Roll on the miles !!!.
