Thread: Question

Just bought a Demo 2011 White Venza loaded, with 14,000kms....Downsized from a 2008 Ford FX4 Crew Cab truck. Wifey suggested a serious look at a Venza. Took me at least 17 seconds to respond YES! I have always loved the looks of them since they came out in 2009. Back then they were too expensive to buy. Funny how when the wife mentioned it, the price suddenly came down ( December Toyota days helped too!). Will I miss the carrying capacity of the truck? Oh yes...But the gas mileage? Holy smokes from 14 MPG to 26MPG...No comparison...
Love the sleek look. The pearl white has always had my attention too. The 20" wheels and the V6 zoom is great. Not a Corvette but good enough for passing on major highways. Not squealing tires anymore anyways....

Solely my decision. After test driving Lexus ES350, RX350, IS250, BMW 328 & 335, Mercedes 3XX 6 speed, Acura MDX, Subaru WRX STI and a few others I chose the Venza. Really liked the BMW 335I but I needed more room for the kids sports equipment than the BMW could provide. Made me start leaning towards SUV/Crossovers and I hated the spot for a Purse in the Lexus RX350 and the leather was not inviting. The Acura MDX was too wide to fit in the garage along side my old Porsche thus it was out from the beginning. Other crossover/SUV's didn't appeal to me. Venza was comfortable, sufficiently quirky in a good way, and has enough room for a dozen basketballs, soccerballs etc and can take easy weekend Tournament trips. I'm happy with the decision.
