    Default SunTek Window Film

This week, I had SunTek "Carbon Series" window film (tint) applied to my Venza's front driver & passenger door windows, as well as the small triangular windows at the corners of the dash. I had the work done at Sun Stoppers in Cornelius (Lake Norman), NC. Rob at Sun Stoppers did a great job on the installation, and offered a wealth of info on the product. Due to NC state laws (and my desire to avoid $180 tickets and failed inspections), I chose to go with a 45% film which, when combined with the factory tint, kept me "legal" at 35% ttl VLT. The film blends extremely well with the factory tint in the rear (although it is lighter), and really helps minimize UV/heat in the cabin...which is a big consideration in hot, sunny NC! Great product, great installer, very pleased. Oh, and it only cost $110!

    Hi emknc,
I have wanted to do the same thing to my Venza , tinting the small triangle windows is a good idea.
Does Sun Stoppers have a place in florida?
I have been looking for a good tint.
Did your installer give Sun Tek carbon series a good review , did he recommend it?
I will look for it down here.
any info that would help is appreciated

Looks like there is a Sun Stoppers franchise in Ft. Pierce, FL:
    4807 S US Highway 1
    Fort Pierce, FL 34982-7077
    (772) 468-3009

As far as the Carbon Series film, yes, my installer highly recommended it. You can also read more about it here: http://www.suntekfilms.com/carbon.htm
Lifetime warranty! And it's manufactured by a company right up in Martinsville, VA.
    Good luck!
