Due to NC state laws (and my desire to avoid $180 tickets and failed inspections), I chose to go with a 45% film which, when combined with the factory tint, kept me "legal" at 35% ttl VLT. The film blends extremely well with the factory tint in the rear (although it is lighter), and really helps minimize UV/heat in the cabin...which is a big consideration in hot, sunny NC! Great product, great installer, very pleased. Oh, and it only cost $110!
Hi emknc,
I have wanted to do the same thing to my Venza , tinting the small triangle windows is a good idea.
Does Sun Stoppers have a place in florida?
I have been looking for a good tint.
Did your installer give Sun Tek carbon series a good review , did he recommend it?
I will look for it down here.
any info that would help is appreciated
