Thread: G Force High Performance Chip ?? Anyone Tried Yet

Has anyone tried using this chip from GForce yet from gfchips.com

Their claims are impressive but are they true.?

They claim better gas milage 4 to 7 mpg increase
They claim more hp upto 60 hp more
They claim lower CO2 emissions

So has anyone tried this chipset yet ?

Just interested in possibly giving it a try if others have yet.

I'm also wondering about this...but it must surely void the warranty no?

According to the Web Site for GForce since its only an addon it would not void warranty since it can be removed when needed ..
Not a Toyota Mechanic so can;t say for sure but might be worth looking into..

ya have to really wonder about product claims like these....more hp while improving mpg's?? Really? Increasing performancde is ALWAYS a trade-off for something - like lower mpg's.

IF this were really true, they ought to offer it to Toyota for ALL it's vehicles under a partnership or per unit royalty fee...... and not have to do anything else but count the money rolling in...... ANY manufacturer would want this product to improve performance AND mpg's for their product line-up's as well especially in this high fuel cost environment and ever-increasing Federal CAFE mandates imposed on the auto industry.

Mr. Skeptic here.............the ole snake oil salesman. There is always a trade off somewhere.
As far as warranty goes......if Toyota even suspects you used a performance chip............good luck on them doing any warranty work on your vehicle.
The seller can claim anything they want.......all their warranty covers is a refund of purchase price......within 14 days.

Interested in your experiences though.

chip is worthless. I lost 2 mpg. Waited about 6 wks to get it and it came in when I was out of town. I got home hooked it up ,the technician told me it would take 100 miles to start working right. Now they won't let me return it. THEY SUCK

My Venza V-6, AWD with 56,000 miles has been averaging 21-22 mpg around town and 28-30 on long interstate trips.

I installed the G-Force and drove 350 miles local and averaged 18.1 mpg. The unit was sent back today along with the Performance Chip posts and a call to my credit card company to remove the charge.

Thanks for the update...... although no real surprise there on th mpg's...... did you get ANY improvement on operating performance whatsoever?

It'll be interesting to hear how they handle the refund.
