Default Wind Noise on Passenger side

Hello. Just curious if anyone notices any wind noise on the passenger side??? I took mine to the dealer in the early stages and they noticed nothing. No surprise. I just so happened to notice a bigger gap (on the pass side) between the front and back door at the top where the rubber seals match (or supposed to) the driver side is very close. They suggested me to take it to a body shop to have the door adjusted. ???? ANY IDEAS ???

    Thanks

I haven't had any problems yet but that's kinda lame they want you to take it to a body shop and they can't do it themselves. Still under warrenty right?

Yes it is still under warranty, it only has 9500 miles on it. It started on day one and I did take it right back but they didn't hear it. I think I'm going yo put some self stick foam seal between both doors then drive it to see if this really is the cause of the noise. It has been in the teens here with lots of snow so when I get a chance I will do so and post an update.
    Have a great day all!!!

Is the leak up high in door frame or is it in the main part of the door .A good body shop should be able to adjust the body fit.I would make sure the warranty is behind the repair so you do not void some how the coverage on this repair . Bottom line they have to work with you on this

Update: a TS was released on April 1, 2010 : T-SB-0097-10 to resolve wind noise at the door frames. It replaces weather strips on both doors.

nhcycle, you seem to have access to all the latest Technical Service Bulletins. Where can I find T-SB-0097-10 and view it?

Does anyone know how to decipher the VIN # to figure out if the vehicle falls into certain TSB's I notice a few things that match problems with my car but they say something about only for cars with VIN# before (then they give a number) so I am not sure if my car is in the "before," department cause it's a 2010 but I feel like some small things are similar to problems with the ones listed and the service bulletin on some say 2009. Thanks, and am I the only one that thinks there are TOO many problems, even though they are small I had a Ford F-150 2005 and when I took it in to get serviced it ALWAYS said on my invoice, TSB's Checked following corrections made or none needed, then listed any if done. I took my car in and purposely didn't mention I still needed the brake fix and they didn't bring it up either. When they called me for pick up I asked if they checked the recalls on my car and the guy said I was fine, I of course brought up the pedal issue and then he called back and said they'd fix it, but I mentioned I hadn't been able to vacuum under the carpet since I've had the car its been strapped down. I figured for sure after the fix they would detach the carpet and vacuum that space but nope instead they left me a dirty leather seat. I guess I should try another dealer but everything I read is that the others are owned by the same company and more importantly I keep reading that the service guys say they can't "reproduce," or "don't SEE," a problem, like the armrest vinyl pulling up, the popped up center speaker cover, both of which are covered in the TSB's. I am so worried bout this car cause I drive alot I have almost 29,000 miles on it and I just got it end of July 2010, I put 129,000 on my F-150 and it looked and ran excellent when I sold it but this car has really got me worried, even changing the air filter was annoying what happened to clamps is there really a need to screw the cover down?

Nhcycle, do you know if the door weatherstrip is a new style part, different in some way from the old one?
