    Default Interior LEDs

    Rob,

I’m planning to switch out my interior lights for LEDs. Most of the lights are 194 wedge types with the exception of the glove box – 74 wedge type.

I don't have an issue with taking the lenses off to replace the bulbs but I’m not sure how to remove the back door trim board to gain access to the license plate bulbs.

Do you have a blowout that would show contact location for removing the panel?

    Thanks
    John

Rob - I looked into taking the back molding off but I still cannot figure out the type of pins/connectors according to your blowout. Do you think if I go to the service center that they would show me how to remove the panel?

Hey Rob, is there a way to purchase a service manual for the Venza? Including electronics? If so, how much would it cost?

    Sorry for the off-topic questions.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ross

    Default led changeout

So school me on the LED interior light replacement. Is it a straight up changeout? Can you changeout the tail lights too given the flash time issue(I understand it is much faster due to change in resistance) I obviously don't know much about this but have owned cars w/LED tail lights and prefer them over bulbs. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have not started this project yet but I used this website as a guide:

    Howto's, Q&A, and Video's
    - http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=300923
    - http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=299364

Other resources for getting bulb type:
    - Owner’s Manual, pg 571
    - http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/
    - http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=299364

My dilemma is that I want white LED’s for the interior not the slight blue hue from the cool white LED’s.

    Hey JohnM
Did you ever replaced the bulbs to LED lights? If you did how do they look? What website/store did you get the LED lights?

    Thank you
    Ermal
