Painted Door Edge Guards

I have noticed the painted door edge guards mentioned in a few threads. Does anyone have the part numbers and / or a website for ordering? I have had them on other cars and they really help with the scratches and dings.

I believe you're talking about Body Side Moldings...

Gulf States Toyota dealers can get them...

Part numbers start with: 00016-0T110-xx (xx being the color code)

Toyota dealers everywhere else (like here in PA) will be able to get Toyota body side moldings in a month or two though.. Don't know why Toyota is slacking on so many things for the Venza ...

I already have the body side moldings. The door edge guards are also painted but are installed on the edge of each door and protect the door edge paint when opened. I have them on my 2006 Avalon and got them from a place in Texas which I can't find the paperwork.

These are not the clear 3M door guards correct?

Thanks for the info on the "door edge guards". I ordered the Color-Keyed Door Edge Gards CLASSIC SILVER 1F7 (Part #00012-Z0919-02) and will install myself.

Not easy for me to post a picture. I ordered the door edge guards and body side molding from the same place and took it to a local body repair shop to install. Half the price of my local Toyota Dealer

I got the edge guard molding from Pep Boys and for my black Venza and installed myself (10 min install for all four doors) and works great. You cut the molding to the length of the door and you are good to go. $20 total.

I purchase mine from through Toyota of Dallas:
P/N 00012-Z0919-02 You will need your paint color number. For the Silver Metallic, it's 1F7. The body side molding is 00012-Z0983-2.
Hope this helps. I think Rob will have this available later , as well.
