    Default side window deflectors

Anyone installed the side window deflectors on their venza, we just got a new v6 pearl ice fwd last week. We have been looking at all we see on the road, none have had them installed. My wife wants to see a picture of one with them installed before we buy them. anyone got a picture posted or one we can see?

Here is what I've ordered. The dark pair is delayed until mid Sept. You can zoom in on the light pair.

I just installed the WeatherTech Visors. They were easy to install and look great.

Have to agree EZ to install. Got the 4 window set had installed within 15 minutes... Went with the Lighter Set and is not as noticeable but still as functional. Like the way I can leave windows cracked
to prevent heat building up in car during the day at work.

Have not had any real wind noise issues with them but have had to reset the front passanger visor twice due to the windows safety feature not wishing to close the window due to sensing something in its way and rolling down halfway. Go Figure

I installed mine tonight. Granted, they were as easy as stated above, however Ventshade forgot to note the chrome trim it covers up, making the install look odd. The visors are also shorter than the actual door length, also making the install look "retrofitted". This is simple to remedy though. You can go to any auto parts store and buy chrome trim and overlay it onto the visors at the top. The space on the visor is about .60" or just over half an inch. Retailers only sell .50 or .75 inch (1/2, 3/4") widths though. SO, you can either install the 1/2" trim and leave a small black gap at the top, or install the 3/4" trim and just slightly be above the visor line, which is what I chose to do. As I stated, the visors are a bit short on the door, so you'll have to get a little creative with the left over pieces of trim. I simply cut small pieces (but a bit longer than what is needed) and laid them onto the gaps that remained between the visors. I then cut off the remainder of the material with a pair of extremely sharp flush cutters. The reason why I did this, is because the difference in thicknesses of the trim, and the OEM chrome trimming. This helped blend the two visually. I will take some pictures of the install tomorrow, and post. Cheers!

I just ordered the WeatherTech set, it mounts inside the window channel, so there should not be any issue with it covering the chrome.

I got them installed and they do not cover the chrome. Here is a picture, from the seller, of them installed.
